Day 01: Arrive in Cochin :- Arriving at Cochin to visit the commercial capital of Kerala, It is not known exactly how the name Kochi originated. But many theories exist. Some historians believe that Cochin is a modified form of the word 'Cochazhi' which in Malayalam means 'small sea'. In the noon proceed for sightseeing of Kochi visiting St. Mary's Cathedral, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church Dutch Palace, Chinese fishing nets. Evening witness Kathakali Dance Performance. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Cochin - Alleppey :- After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Alleppey at Houseboat.You will spend the entire day at the houseboat in the intimate company of each other while the houseboat moves through the serene backwaters. You will be served delectable lunch on board followed by evening tea with snacks. You will love being in this expanse of backwaters away from the cacophony of cities. You will spend your evening on the sundeck of the houseboat. You will love the vast expanse of twinkling stars overhead and soothing calmness occasionally disturbed by the diving of a fish or cooing of the birds. Just a perfect setting for evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the houseboat The Houseboats / kettuvallams of Kerala are giant country crafts, measuring up to 80 feet in length, retrieved from being lost to the State altogether. Once these houseboats / kettuvallams ruled the backwaters, pulled along by one or two men, heavily loaded with rice, coconut and other commodities.
Day 03 : ALLEPPEY - COCHIN - DEPARTURE :- Breakfast is onboard. Disembark the houseboat and you will have a straight drive back to Cochin. You will be transferred to Kochi international airport for your onward journey.
