Day 1: Arrive Trivandrum

Luxury India Vacations representative welcomes you at the Trivandrum airport to your Kerala with Hoysala Architecture travel. You will be directly driven to the hotel for your first night in Kerala. On arrival at the hotel, our representative will do all the check in formalities. Refresh. Afternoon you will visit the Padmanabhaswamy temple, the seat of Lord Vishnu and Napier Museum, Chitra Art Gallery. At the art gallery you will explore paintings of the great artist, Raja Ravi Verma and other various collections. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 2: Trivandrum - Quilon - Alleppey - Kumarakom

After breakfast you will drive to Quilon or Kollam, a medieval spice trade centre of Kerala. On arrival, you will board the houseboat and the boat sails to Alleppey through the backwater canals crossing the scenic vistas of nature. While the houseboat reaches Alleppey you will disembark. Our representative will drive you to Kumarakom. Take your backwater resort. Have your own time. Just walk past the paths that run parallel to the backwater canals. Day 3: Kumarakom - Cochin (85 Kms-02 Hrs)

After breakfast, check out the backwater resort and start your drive to Cochin, the Queen of Arabian Sea. You will be settled at a Cochin hotel booked for you in advance by Luxury India Vacations. Afternoon, explore the colonial buildings of Kochi- Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Net. Also visit the Cochin Harbor, Jew town and Fort Kochi. Have your lunch at an outside restaurant and experience the Kochi cuisine. Evening enjoy a Kathakali dance programme at a Cochin cultural centre. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Cochin - Thrissur (Trichur) ( 84 Kms-02 Hrs)

After breakfast you will drive to Thrissur, which is a cultural hub of Kerala. On arrival take your hotel. Then you will set out on an excursion to Cheruthuruthy, the art and dance centre in south India located in Thrissur district of Kerala. It is located on the bank of Nila River. Visit Kerala Kalamandalam, a cultural institute of art forms like Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, Thullal, Koothu, Drama and folk dances Also explore here the temple of Kozhimamparambu Bhagavathy, the Cheruthuruthy Mosque, and St. Thomas Church. After dinner, stay overnight at the Thrissur hotel.

Day 5: Thrissur - Kozhikode (Calicut) ( 110 Kms-03 Hrs)

After breakfast you will explore Thrissur town and its monuments. Then you will move towards Kozhikode, earlier known as Calicut. Check in at your hotel. Evening visit the Kappad beach or Kozhikode Beach. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 6: Kozhikode - Kadavu (15 Kms-30 minutes)

After breakfast, you will explore the travel attractions of Kozhikode. It is the port city where VasCo Da Gama, the Portuguese navigator, landed first. Visit the Pazhassiraja Museum, Art gallery, Thali temple, Beypore Wood market, etc. Then you will start your drive to Kadavu Resort, a spectacular resort on the bank of Chaliyar River. On arrival, take your resort. Rest of the day is for leisure. Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 7: Kadavu - Nagarhole (115 Km /4-5 hours)

Morning enjoy a boat ride on the river Chaliyar. The stunning natural environment will thrill you. Then you will be driven to Nagarhole in Karnataka which houses the Nagarhole National Park. On arrival take your jungle lodge. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 8: Nagarhole

Have your breakfast. Then you will enjoy a coracle ride on the Kabini River. It will be fun for you. Coracle is a native round boat. Afternoon, you will go for a wildlife tour in the Nagarhole National Park. Explore its wildlife. This park was once the hunting reserve of the former rulers of Mysore. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Nagarhole - Mysore ( 90 Kms -02-03 Hrs)

After breakfast check out the hotel and start your drive to Mysore. On arrival at Mysore, you will be taken to your hotel. Then you will explore sightseeing. Explore the paintings at the Chamarajendra Art Gallery which is located in Jaganmohan Palace. It houses paintings of Ravi Varma and Nicholas Roerich. Explore also its other properties like curios in ceramics, sandalwood, ivory, ancient musical instruments and furniture. Visit the Krishnarajendra Dam-Brindavan Gardens, Maharaja's Palace, Chamundi Hills, etc.

Day 10: Mysore

On the day of Kerala tour with Hoysala architecture you set out a full day excursion tour to Srirangapatna, a city of historical and religious importance as well cultural hub. Explore the Fort, Ranganathaswamy , Daria Daulat Bagh, museums and paintings, etc. Return back to Mysore hotel. Have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 11: Mysore - Coorg (118 Kms-02-03 Hrs)

After breakfast proceed towards Coorg, a hill destination in Karnataka. On arrival, halt at the hotel. Afternoon, enjoy leisure activities. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 12: Coorg

The full day is reserved for fun at Coorg. It is a holiday destination with hills, lush forest, tea and coffee plantation, orange groves, vistas of Mother Nature. You can go trekking, golfing, angling, etc. Explore its natural wonders.

Day 13: Coorg -Udupi ( 200 Kms-04 Hrs)

Morning you will start your move towards Udupi. On arrival take your hotel. Afternoon visit its temples. Explore its art and culture. Have a sumptuous dinner as Udupi is known for its rich cuisine. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 14: Udupi – Hassan ( 225 Kms-05 Hrs)

After breakfast, Luxury India Vacations will take to you Hassan, a famous travel destination in Karnataka for its heritage sites On arrival check in at your hotel. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 15: Hassan (Sightseeing of Hoysala Architecture) - Bangalore ( 185 Kms-03 Hrs)

Today you will visit Belur and Halebid, the twin cities, once the home of the Hoysala dynasty for a period of three centuries. These city houses, stone cut temples. In the sculpture of the temples you will see the ivory and sandalwood handwork. These sites are preserved as world heritage sites. You will see some ruins here. Afternoon, you will drive towards Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka. Enroute you will visit Shravanabelagola, one of the remarkable Jain centers of the world. It is located amidst two hills. You explore the ancient monuments. The main attraction is the 57 feet high monolithic statue of Bhagavan Gomateshwara Bahubali located on the Vindhyagiri Hills. Drive again to Bangalore. On arrival take your hotel. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 16: Bangalore - Departure

Bangalore is the software capital of India. After breakfast explore its gardens and temples. You will be transferred to the Bangalore Airport.
